1. Load the XFA file named: Mill Professional Z Level Machining.XFA
2. Activate the NC Manager if not visible. |

3. Pin the NC Manager open by depressing the pushpin |

Step 1.
Z Level Rough
4. Left Click the Model Toolpaths icon on the NC Manager |

 |
| |
5. The Model Toolpaths dialogue appears. SelectZ Level Rough and left click OK |
| |
 |
| |
6. The Z Level Rough Path Creation Dialog Appears. Match the settings to the dialogue
below and click Next. |

 |
| |
7. The Select Tool Dialogue appears. Left click the tool image, to open the Tool List. |
| |
 |
| |
8. Left Click Bull Icon and select a .75” HSS Bullnose Mill and left click Accept. |
| |
 |
| |
9. Left Click on Stock. |
| |
 |
| |
10. Select Aluminum Billet and click Accept. |
| |
 |
| |
11. Enter the remaining field values as in the image below and click Next. |
| |
 |
| |
12. The Set Clearances dialog appears. Enter the values as in the image below and left click
Next. |
| |
 |
| |
13. The Toolpath Settings dialog appears. Enter the values as in the image below and click
Next |
| |
 |
| |
14. The Custom Levels dialog appears. Select Find Flat Areas and click Next. |
| |
 |
| |
15. Select Extents Box, and Normal and click Next. |
| |
 |
| |
16. Select both Automatic Offsets and enter the values as shown.

Result:
The Toolpath has been created based on the entered values.

Step 2.
Z - Level Finish
1. Left Click the Model Toolpath Icon on the NC Manager. |

| |
2. Select SMT Finish and Z Level and click Next. |
| |
 |
| |
3. The Path Control Dialog appears. Change your settings to match those below and click
Next |
| |
 |
| |
4. Select Your tool and match your settings to the dialog below. Click Next |
| |
 |
| |
5. Set your clearances to match the dialog below. Click Next |
| |
 |
| |
6. The Toolpath Settings Dialog Appear. Enter the values as below and click next. |
| |
 |
| |
7. Select Find Flat Areas. Click Next |
| |
 |
| |
8. Select Extents Box and Normal. Click Next. |
| |
 |
| |
9. Manually enter your extents as shown below. Click Finished. |
| |
 |
| |
Result:
The Z Level Finish Operation is complete |

Step 3:
Planar Finish
1. Click the Model Toolpath Icon on the NC Manager |

| |
2. Choose SMT Finish and Planar, and click OK. |
| |
 |
| |
3. The Select a Tool dialog appears. Enter the values as in the image below and click next |
| |
 |
| |
4. Set your clearances as below and click next. |
| |
 |
| |
5. The Toolpath Settings Dialog appears. Enter the values as shown below and click next. |
| |
 |
| |
6. Choose Pick a Boundary and choose Normal. Click Next |
| |
 |
| |
7. Set the Boundary Extents and click Finished. |
| |
 |
| |
8. Select the boundary, and right click to complete the operation. |
| |
 |
| |
Result:
The Toolpaths have been completed. |
